How are all of you linux users today,

I've been reading all your postings for the last few
weeks and I feel that svlug is 10% linux, 20% BS, and
80% monopoly, but thats my opinion please don't feel
offended (laughing). A co-worker of mine, no no a
great young co-worker of mine was the happiest camper
for a whole week when he subscribed to slug I mean
svlug. Well thats history. He thought of svlug as a
bugtopia where all the insects that did not want to
act like a light switch would go and they be free from
their evil queens. Everytime he would post something
some of you (great ex: Rick Moaner) would act like
GODs and would insult him and then cover their ass by
using English that my great grandmother would call it
"OLD". Hello, this is 2k1 not 1801. Also a majority of
all the linux users today have been using Linux since
1999 or less. Yes, linux is a hard OS to learn and
till the day I always believe that there is no such
thing as a stupid question. I also know there are
members in this list who are real good at lending a
hand to a newbie. I think this list would be better to
the linux community if it was broken down to different
groups like the perl.org lists, newbies, mid, and
advanced. This way users would upgrade to different
levels of knowledge. I sent this email because my
co-worker did everything in his reach to use linux as
a solution in our company but after his bad experience
with some of you because of his level of knowledge and
according to some of you his stupid questions. He no
longer even attempts to use linux. He threw away his
linux shirt and other stuff he had. He was so excited
about going to some linux bbq, that he had a list of
ideas to share with all of you. Oh well, thats life.
One more point for MS and One less for linux. Sad but
true.

Bored? Who cares.

My one and only svlug ? for all linux users.

Why can't the vice president of Red Hat go to a
Windows convention and be a speaker? Who really has
what it takes to make it.

Subject: SAMBA...

Dear svlug, I am having trouble configuring SAMBA for
my Windows NT and Linux network. I tried many
solutions and gone to many sites on the net and
nothing. Can you point me to some helpful info. Thank
You.
