I am using mandrake 8 right now as a workstation, haven't found any problems
yet, but a couple of quirks:
After booting up, and getting prompted for login (at the shell, not X) I
continue to get some messages from the boot process... Haven't taken time to
look into it yet, and I can login with no problem.
Also, I like Mandrakes old Software Update utility better tham the new one,
but haven't really played with it yet...
