Gnome isn't going anywhere, it is replacing CDE on most commercial
unixes.. KDE though is attracting a lot of 3rd party apps that gnome
isn't.. Regardless most of the apps I use are gnome apps.. (I'm a
WindowMaker guy myself.. Less bloat more filling..)
