What sort of mpegs? If you mean like files downloaded with .mpg, try
SMPEG. It's one of Loki Games' open-source projects and would be linked
somewhere on http://www.lokigames.com/ but I don't recall exactly
where. It's about the most advanced player I've found, although still a
bit buggy.
