I've never done this, but I hear that you need to chmod a+rw /dev/dvd. I'm
not sure I like that solution. Everybody needing to read it is one thing, but
for some reason write access is needed for encrypted dvds.

This is what I hear, anyway... I'd bet I'm wrong. I don't have a dvd drive.
