I have a strange message at the command line prompt before sign on. I
don't boot to the GUI I boot to the command line. Here is the message

Winbond Super-IO detection. now testing ports 3F0, 370, 250, 4E, 2E ...
SMSC Super-IO detection. now testing ports 2F0, 370 ...
PCI: Found IRQ for device 00:06:0
PCI: The same IRQ used for device 00:07.2
PCI: The same IRQ used for device 00:07.3

I did a cat and found that both my USB ports use IRQ 5, but so does my
extra (I/O Magic Parallel PCI Controller Card) parallel port. I assume I
need to change one of their IRQ's but am not sure which to change or how to
change. The second parallel port is intended for my scanner (Mustek
scanner, I have a USB scanner, Visioneer 6100, but cannot find anyone who
has configured the 6100 to work with Linux). I have not hooked up the
scanner yet. I appreciate your time and help with this. TIA, Maureen
