Mark: in the /proc/sys/fs directory in RH7.1 there is a max number of files
open set in the variable file-max. It comes up as 8192 and I have to keep
setting it to 16384 each time I reboot. I would like that default to be
16384 and not 8192.

How do I??? Or is it 'where do I'?
