Well the problem is that I run IceWM, and the version I have is only
compiled to use XPM as its graphics format for backgrounds. So I'm stuck
with that (if I don't want to get source and recompile), and although
gzip will squeeze the crap out of the file, Ice won't know what to do
with it.
