forgive me I know I've asked before, but I cannot remember out to register a
w2k-pro (which implies an NTWKS) on a domain managed by a samba server. See
the error below:

System error 1240 has occurred.
The account is not authorized to login from this station.

and
cannot login. this conflicts with an existing set of credentials
