Hmm... I'll have to look into that. I've been thinking about getting DSL,
but I hear too many horror stories and not enough satisfied stories. I've
been happy with roadrunner in Tampa and St. Pete for about 2 years. If they
start blocking port 80, though, I'll have to move on.
One question... when you say "750 on download", do you mean bits or bytes
per second? :)

Ive been using them for years---just call and ask about cable modems(think
its called whirlwind). We just had another (Linda's private---dont ask!!)
drop for another cable modem installed---now have 2 cable modems(both
static)
and they are doing better than 750 on download--- I just dropped verison DSL
because the service was garbage---they kept dropping internet and email
access for hours/days at a time---blamed it on the servers---I just was fed
up so we now have 2 cable drops and both are workin just fine
