A company is calling around doing an "open source survey". It is for
an internal report for MSFT. Since MSFT is likely using multiple
companies to do this research and since I am fully aware that MSFT
reps read this mailing list, I decline to mention the name of the
company doing the research.
Their contact list is at least two years old ... they had an old
email address of mine ... probably back when I was still a "preferred
customer".
The rep did not acknowledge that the survey was for MSFT until
confronted directly. Just ask yourself this ... what open source
company has the funds to pay someone to do phone surveys all over the
US?
