While watching Pats walk over Steelers, saw new IBM "basketball"
commercial featuring "Linux, the new guy on the team who is going to
make all of you look better." Cut to executive suite, where one suit
gloats that Linux cost "peanuts," other asks why he plays so cheap,
first suit says, "because he loves the game."
Can't ask for a better plug than that.
Too bad that, as editor of Linux.com, I'm going to get lots of really
stupid questions from AOL users because of this ad, but answering them
is (sigh) part of my job.
