I use evolution as well, it made it easy to switch to linux. From home,
I ssh in and run evolution remotely by setting the DISPLAY to my home IP
address. It takes a little while to load, but is quite usable once it's
up and runing. (I'm on a cable modem at home, and have DSL at work)
