I don't know if it is good or not that I don't have a great deal of hair to
pull out!!

I have been trying to get DHCP configured on my RH7.1 server and as yet no
deal.

When I try to start dhcpd I get 'not a recognized service' when I look in
/etc/rc.d/init.d it is not there.

How do I set this up as a service if that is what I need to do??

I have created and populated the /etc/dhcpd.conf file and created the leases
file with touch.
