I agree. It's more a problem for us and not the platform. I won't include it.

Management problem. Nothing to do with platform.

Hardware RAID is available for Sun. Granted, hardware RAID cards are
more expensive on Sun than f.ex. adding a Compaq SmartRAID card to your
Compaq server. Nonetheless, the decision not to use them is a decision
made by management, engineers, etc, and again has nothing to do with the
platform.
