KDE 2.x saves config settings in $HOME/.kde/share/config. The konsole
c*nfig file is called konsolerc.
Log in as any user, open konsole, go to settings and make the desired
changes to fonts, schema, etc. Click on Settings >> Save Settings.
As superuser, create a .kde/share/config directory in /etc/skel. Copy
the konsolrc file from the user's home directory you configured to the
/etc/skel/.kde/share/config directory. Make sure the file is globally
readable.
Any NEW user who logs into the KDE desktop will now have these settings
by default.

Matt
