I have Sandisk SmartMedia instead of CF. I have a fujifilm USB card reader
for it. I'm using Red Hat 7.2 with kde it shows up as an icon on the
desktop. The icon is of an eight pin ic with the 'flash' written below it.
It works just like a drive. Just click on it and it opens up (be patient)
with thumbnails if it has pictures on it. Works almost exactly the same in
windows.

As I am typing this, I just unplugged it live from my RH 7.2 box and plugged
it in hot on my ELX rc2 box. Same results. It put the same icon on the
screen almost instantly. I opened it and the same thumbnails resulted. It's
running kde as well.
