The running DVD players are:
Mplayer: Plays every video file under the sun
Xine: Mostly a dvd player with good gui and uses plugins but doesnt do
encrypted dvd out of the box. There are several plugins
Ogle: also good. is dvd only and was the first to support menus.
VideoLan: simple dvd player.

You'll find these all with a simple google search. Youll also need to install
the libdvdread and libcss [For encrytped dvds, DMCA who?] libraries.
