Nope, it's just a normal shell script you can run at any time. It's
commented to show what each section does, although not line-by-line. I
have to leave something up to the end-user to figure out.
I typically just save it in root's home directory and either manually
run it when I need to reconfigure the firewall (like after a fresh boot)
or just make a symlink to it from the appropriate /etc/rc.d directory.
Save it from your email to a regular text file and scan through it with
vi or more/less or whatever your favorite text viewer application to see
what it's doing.
