With rcp, you need to have both machines registered in hosts.equiv and
in your .rhosts files. In my opinion, it is better to use scp in this
day and age. Also, one of my favorite methods for dumping data from my
laptop to my desktop is rsync with ssh. Just some other avenues to
explore.
