If it is not visible from the 'outside', just for fun on the
tftp server, please run:
    rpm -e lokkit iptables ipchains

and reboot -- to unquestionably remove any prospect of local
firewalling blocking the needed transfers from occurring.

Also -- the LTSP site has a 30 page (printed) overview and
diagnostic howto, which allow one to walk through just where a
connection is falling apart.
