In my experience all sysadmin is voodoo. Arcane formulas (not
unknowable, but definitely arcane) direct third-party intercessors
(sometimes actual daemons) to bend the universe to your will. The
glaring exception is Windows administration which is very Christian,
being based on self-flagellation and a belief that death and
resurrection is preferable to healing (and the attitude that the only
bliss to which you may aspire will come in the next version).
