I have been trying to wean my company accounting s/w from Quickbooks for
a couple of years now.
There are some offerings that are possible candidates except for 3 areas:
cost - I don't expect free, but I am not forking out several grand either.
features - just basic business account stuff found in QB.
complexity - If its too hard, my wife will make me do the accounting.

Basically, the perfect accounting package for me would be Quickbooks for
Linux. The crossover
packages haven't claimed (AFAIK) to support Quickbooks yet.
