Once again, anyone who wants to have an informal gathering in lieu of
the formal -- but cancelled -- meeting is welcome at my Bradenton home
at the meeting time/date above.
Perhaps, besides drinking beer (BYOB over 21; under 21 soda/juice) and
snarfing snacks, we can look at OSCommerce (http://www.oscommerce.com/),
a PHP-based GPL ecommerce package I'm considering using for a Web site
my wife wants to make, and that looks like it might be handy for others
who need to make catalog-type sites.
I have a live server we can use for a trial install, even.
Or if we're not in the mood for thet, we'll think of something. I have
Mandrake 9.0 PowerPack and Xandros 1.0 CDs around if anyone wants to
bring a laptop or whatever and try an install.
