   Step # 1, boot with your rescue floppies or rescue CD, then see why
you can't boot. If you can't boot because of log sizes, no room on
the boot drive or the like, you must be talking about a M$ system or
something, so never mind. Since I started keeping two bootable drives
on my (only) computer the rescue CD is seldom needed. (I press F9 for
boot drive selection)
