The problem turned out to be the Iwill Motherboard... Bought a new Biostar
Mobo, works fine. The only problem is I can't get the sound to work. It's
a Biostar M7VIT, with on-board audio: C-Media CMI9739A 6-Channel AC'97
CODEC (Actually, the sub-par manual specifies a CMI 8738, but the chip on
board is marked a 9739)... Anyway, when I run RedHat's Sound Card
Detection, the model shows up as VT8233 AC97 Audio Controller, and the
module is via82xxx_audio. How do I correct this?

Thanks!

Doug
