I use verizon and have back to the gte days and with the cable I havent had a
problem. I run my network behind a linksys router/firewall and have never had
a bit of problem nor have I had any inquiry or contact from verizon ( or gte
) about it. If that is any help. Oh and I have a server (ftp) running 24/7
that some friends and I use regulary and not a peep --- and may it stay that
way : ) Of course I never went to them and asked if it was permitted or asked
for support either, I guess its a dont ask dont tell kind of thing, so Im not
going to ask.
