The driver you need is "tdfx" and should be included
in the distro packages. I run a 3500tv and a 4000
myself. When installing Mandrake 9.0 (aka RH base)
the install programs dedect the card, but I don't
think it automatically installs the 3d support.

Have you installed Linux already? What symptoms do
you have that are indicative of not having the tdfx
module installed?

Also, If you want to check for the modules, go to a
terminal (command prompt) and type "lsmod". You
should see it there.

I'm also very new at this so if anyone can correct my
mistakes here it would be helpful :)

Lots of Luck,
Rob
