UPDATE:
I decided that the cheapest and easiest way to deal with this whole thing was
to drill a hole through the exterior wall and run CAT5E from the cable source
room(after the linksys) around the outside eave(ala cable company) and drill
a hole through the wall into the room with the 3 puters. Since only 2 boxes
will be "online" I decided to run dual cables and use 2 ports on the router.
Problem was solved with some time (drilling through the concrete block is a
pain) a total investment of 17 bucks for the 2 premade cables ( 70 feet each)
and a pain in my back from attaching the cable clamps/clips to the underside
eave.
I used the known working connections that I have(current system) and basically
added cable and moved the linksys. Decided the tech (wireless or hpna) was
gonna be more of a pain (drivers-cards-etc) than it was worth, kept is
simple(big hammer) and just added cable.
Thanks everyone for the advice. I did appreciate the input.
