[SLUG] CUPS won't print on both sides of paper

I'm using CUPS with RH 7.3. Kprinter --stdin is the command I use to
call CUPS. When I try to duplex print from OO.o, Acroread or anything
else I can select duplex printing but the job will be printed on one
side only. I'm using a proper ppd file for the printer (Xerox 480) and
I'm sending pages that have text on both sides.

Any clues?
