I guess this is now OT, but attracting 20K supporters is only half the
battle. The host population has to be small enough that those 20K
activists can actually make a political impact. Hence, states like
Florida and New York are pretty much right out (with Florida fast becoming
another borough of New York City anyway, it seems).
Not that this state isn't worth fighting for, but as far as the Free State
Project's goals are concerned, it's just not a viable candidate.
