[SLUG] Links directional??

Hello Sluggers,

A stupid question.....Are links directional, like a one way street??? Must
the link start at one place to link to the other place??, or does it matter?

IE: I installed a new Mozilla and lost all of my plug-ins. Used to be in /opt
and is now in /usr. Guess I need to make new links from mozilla somewhere to
mozilla/Netscape plug-ins some whare. Think I have both.
