Re: [SLUG] Any mom&pop computer joints in Tampa area?

The last time I bought cable and wall jacks (It was bulk, 1000ft and I
admit it was several years ago) I bought at Graybar off of 49th ST over
by the St Pete /Clearwater airport. It's not mom and pop but they were
the cheapest I knew of locally. They had bulk cable, plugs, sockets,
and factory made cables of various types. Whether or not they are
competetive now, I can't say. They probably have an on line catalog.

I hate to go to RadioShack/BBuy/CCity and pay 5x the price, and shipping online often costs as much as the cable! For example, right now I'm looking for a 6-4pin Firewire/IEEE-1394 cable (M/M)... whatever length. What's a good local place for computer type cabling? Or am I better off just hitting one of the Flea Market places around here?
