Hi All
Messing around with Iraq news sources I accidentally discovered that anyone
can listen to Iraqi music by clicking on the desired selection at:
Now having spent a few years playing in the great sand boxes on both sides of
"The Gulf" I have had the displeasure of listing to a wide selection of some
very disagreeable sounds that were presented as music.
These tunes although not equal to what I would expect form current
contemporary sources do appear to be downloadable without being traced by
RIAA.
This of course raises the interesting question does the RIAA or the BIA own
this music too?
Am I allowed to listen to Iraqi sources with out having to worry that I am
infringing on some RIAA copyright?
To download it?
To leave M3 files on my computer with out violating some copyright ownership
statue that could put me in jail? [Not sure if that is US or UK law. The site
was UK but the article read like it was US law.]
I only ask this question as I noticed that the RIAA has announced that they
are not going to prosecute kids too.
One thing about this I have just discovered that KMPlayer works great on
audio. Don't know yet about video but audio is great.
Only issue appears that there is insufficient catch for dial-up. I will look
at that and see it it can be adjusted.
