Hmm, you aren't compromising your standards by doing the job they want. Your standards are
what are used when you are doing something that you are paying yourself for.
I agree with all the arguments against doing a sub-standard, incorrect job, but if that is what
~ you are being payed for, take the money, and live your life.
What if you were a wall painter, and you wanted to clean the walls, sand any rough spots,
surface seal, prime, and then paint the walls. Your boss said just paint, right over whatever
is there. Would you consider quitting because your standards were being compromised?
You can't teach fools to not be fools. All you can do is keep your sanity. If necessary,
change jobs.
