If this is all you want, either one will work fine. GRUB has an advantage
over LILO in that it is better at handling complicated boot setups (IMO),
such as booting a FreeDOS chainloader from some obscure logical partition
deep in the drive. OTOH, LILO may have an advantage in ease of setup.
But really, if you're using LILO and your system boots, there isn't a need
to switch.
