I'm an Apple bigot, so naturally I like the iBooks and PowerBooks, but
Linux compatibility might be marginal (some of the hardware in them is
rather proprietary).
In the x86 world I like the IBM ThinkPads. Don't know if they have a
Centrino model yet, but the ThinkPads have always impressed me with their
build quality.
