Hey William,
           Its been a while since I done this so my memory may be a little off. But I think I
should be able to point you in the right direction. First If the printer is connected via an
ethernet port, I belive all you have to do is put the ip address in the printcap file (look at the
printcap man page). If the printer is a DHCP client, Put the hostname instead. If the printer is
connected to network via a share (off the Parellel port of a print server), Then you can set up
samba to connect to it. In samba all you have to do is edit the smb.conf file. (look at the samba
man pages to figure that one out, If you look at /etc/smb.conf, The examples should be enough info
to get you going. Just remeber you have restart the samba service. Again its been a while, but if
you check out the man pages on these things, you should be able to figure out what you need to do.
