I had the same sort of thing with SM. All you have to do is go into the
SM config and tell it which folders to use. Mine created INBOX.Drafts
INBOX.Sent, etc. This is easily changed.

Subject: [SLUG] SquirrellMail compatability with other IMAP clients

Greetings,

Since it's a slow night on the list, I thought it would be a good time
to ask about this minor issue that's been bugging me for a while. I use
RedHat's default IMAP server, and Mozilla Mail and SquirellMail (SM) as
IMAP clients. SM creates a /home/username/Mail directory which contains
Sent, Drafts, and Trash files. These files show up as folders in the SM
client (browser). This works fine as long SM is the only client that I
access email with.

However, Mozilla creates a different set of files in /home/username to
represent Drafts, Sent, Trash, and whatever other folders I create.
Mozilla can also see and manipulate the mail files in the SM directory.
However, the reverse is not true; SM can't even see the folders that I
create in Mozilla. I've tried changed the folder options in SM to point
to the same directory as Mozilla, but then the only folder that show up
in SM is Inbox.

Is there any way I can configure this to have one set of folders that
both SM and Mozilla can use?

Thanks!

Doug
