There's a checkbox on the same window where you set up your network
configuration via DHCP that indicates whether or not you want the computer
to update your computer name to match what your ISP assigns you.

Doesn't changing the DHCP configuration to another configuration cause the

host to not accept the new client configuration resulting in the client not

being able to use the internet?
