Well, there are always marginal risks when allowing root anything from
anywhere, although if you set it up as you've described, you're bringing
those risks very near to zero. Practically, I guess it's a tossup - do
you allow everyone on localhost unencrypted access to your X session, or
do you allow root ssh login from localhost? Or use sudo.
