[SLUG] OSS Compatibility with ALSA

Hi everyone,

I recently updated the kernel on my Red Hat 9 system to 2.6.0-test6.
It's much faster and I'm happy with the new modules (W9966 especially)
but I've been having some difficulty getting OSS Applications (games
mainly) to work with ALSA. I've compiled the compatibility libraries and
made the appropriate symlinks in /dev, but I'm still getting "No device"
errors when applications try to open /dev/dsp. I've read the man pages
on aoss, but they seem to be a little lacking and I was wondering if
someone could clarify a solution to this problem. Thanks.

Tyler
