I've never quite understood the point of this. AFAIK, (and IANAL) with
or without a disclaimer, there still isn't much in the way of legal
repercussion for reading other people's e-mail as it flies across
unprotected networks. If it was encrypted, there /may/ be some sort
of DMCA (Dubious Mafia "Convincing" Act?) action, but that's about it.

It appears to be the "en vogue" thing for managers to do these days.

If you are forced to do this, make sure you don't somehow allow
spammers to get to you modified crap-appending MTA. You really wouldn't
want the words in your e-mail footer to become heavily weighted into
people's Bayesian spam filters. ;-)
