[SLUG] Mandrake 9.1 and the KVM

I have a 4 port KVM that i use since i use different software on some
puters. I hooked my pent 3-450 mandrake 9.1 puter into this kvm with no
problems until i moved the puters around without shutting them off. The
mandrake puter shut down while moving and when i rebooted i got error
messages and then was booted to the user prompt. Unhooking and rehooking to
the kvm did not fix it even while shutting down between doing this. it
always came up to the user propmt. So i tried setting the puter up by itself
and it boots just fine with no problems. Although i know very little about
linux i would appreciate any suggestions of where to look to why this puter
is doing this. I really dont have the space in the puter room for more
monitors and prefs. I would prefer to have the linux puter back on the kvm.
I have 6 puters, 3 monitors, 2 printers( laser and standard), various USB
devices, a scanner, and shelves filled with parts all in a 6 x 7 room. I
know its crazy but i cant afford to expand right now.
