Hey -

I just bought the Dell 2001 FP 1600 x 1200 it is awesome. It took them
3 tries until I got one without bad pixels but it is worth it. I paid
704.00 got like 30% off. If you call sales they will neg it.
www.slickdeals.net was showing it for 749.00 (25 percent) but when I
called them they dropped it to (30 percent). I live it Citrus Park if
you want to look at it to see if you like it before you buy one.

Subject: [SLUG] LCD monitor

I'd like to get an LCD monitor. Right now, I'm running a CRT at
1536x1152, and I don't want to go down. A friend mentioned the Dell
2001FP as being a good, usable monitor. However, its list price is a
thousand bucks (well, $999). Is there another flat-screen monitor which
is just as good, for cheaper? My video card doesn't have DVI; I'd
upgrade
that card, if necessary.

I looked at Froogle, iBuyernet, PriceGrabber, Price Watch, Shopper.com,
Shopping.com, and ShopperWiz. Froogle had a bunch off stuff (but from
what I could tell, nothing where you could buy just a display), and
Shopping.com had one listing, for Dell. The rest have nothing.
