[SLUG] Recovering data

I've got a RH9 system that hangs in lilo (it just prints LI).

When I boot from CD with "linux expert rescue" and load the RAID controller
driver, I can use fdisk /dev/sda to see the partitions. They look correct
to me:

But when I try to mount it, I get an error message (in the same photo).
fsck tells me that it's the wrong partition type or bad superblock, and I've
tried specifying ext2 and ext3 versions of fsck but that gives the same result.

Any ideas, folks?

Ben
