Has anyone had any experience with the Promise
FastTrack UDMA 100 IDE Raid controller under Linux?

I'm currently in the process of setting up a server
and will be running Slackware 9.1 and have this
controller installed. I have been scouring the Net
(including Googling) to identify how to get Slack to
address the Raid 1 mirrored array. I found some
sites that say it should be under /dev/ataraid but I
don't show any devices listed although I do show a
/dev/ataraid. When putting the Slackware 9.1 CD and
booting I choose the ataraid.i kernel so it will
load the correct module but still can't figure out
how to mount the array to fdisk (fdisk
/dev/ataraid/d0px or whatever). Any help would be
greatly appreciated.

As always, thank you for your assistance.

The model is the FastTrack 100. I'm attempting to
install it on Slacware 9.1 but wasn't even able to
get it to go with Fedora.

Thanks again for any assistance.
