Lindows only talks to the Server if you run the CNR app. If you do not
belong to the CNR Warehouse, you obviously do not
need to run the CNR app. So you just disable that, and it will stop
talking to the server. You can stop CNR from auto starting
every time just by following these easy steps.

1. Look in /usr/share/autostart for clicknrun.desktop.
2. Move file to a backup location
3. Click and Run will not autostart anymore.

Hope this helps you to better understand, and therefore less likely to
slam my current Favorite OS. Thanks!
