Is it "right"?... ummm... It's quite possibly factual.

Agreed. Though some would say it is a good thing. It probably does a
very wee little bit to inconvenience stupid spammers. Personally, I'm a
bit disappointed that only Big Brother's trusted huge corporations
should be allowed to put a functioning MTA on the world's largest
computer network.

They started doing this in April last year, near as I could tell. Soon
after, they expanded it to mail addressed to some TimeWarner/RoadRunner
email accounts with rr.com endings. Since then I've seen it at qtm.net
and sbcglobal.com. Haven't noticed any others in probably 6 months or
more. Quickest fix might be to relay mail destined for the aol.com
domain through your ISP's mail server.

Buy a stamp and tell your AOL friend to switch ISPs,
