Well, there's an Omniscience Client RFC at ISI, mentioned on Slashdot.
There's a Copernicus Base job opening at Google, and of course smaller jests
at SLUGgers' offices, no doubt.

I sent mail from the director's account to everyone but myself, asking
everyone to please gather in his office at 9am to find out about an April
Fool's joke aimed at me. Many people actually did show up, although the
director had been tipped off when our office manager reminded him that he
also had a conference call at 9am.

And then I told a user-group mailing list (not this one) that it would be
turned over to the vendor they love to trash, as a result of a cease and
desist letter which was really just a PDF saying "April fool!" in big letters.

Fooling people is easy -- as easy as a trip to Venus!
